People will ask from time to time why our MemryStones don’t always lie flat on the table and may have a bit of a wobble.
This has to do with the hand made nature of MemryStones. Each one of them is molded by a real person and as a result you will always find small variations from one to another.
But more importantly, allowing each MemryStone to take its natural shape as it dries, actually reduces the chance for stresses to build up in the clay, stresses which might make the ceramic less able to withstand the process of cremation.
So a little bit of curl around the edges in this case is not a flaw, it is very much a feature designed to make sure your MemryStone can best come through cremation intact.
